PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever-type connector capable of preventing incorrect fitting between housings. SOLUTION: In the lever-type connector, when fitting postures of first and second housings 10, 40 are inclined from regular postures at a final stage of a fitting process of the first and second housings 10, 40, the fitting postures of the first and second housings 10, 40 are corrected by making a pressing portion 73 of a lever 60 push a pressure-receiving portion 29 of the first housing 10. The lever-type connector is constituted in such a way that, when an operation portion 61 of the lever 60 is located at an approaching position to a back face of a cover 12 or at a position overlapped to the back face of the cover 12 in a fitting process of the first and the second housings 10, 40 and at a pre-stage for pushing the pressure-receiving portion 29 by the pressing portion 73, a mutual fitting force between the first and the second housings 10, 40 becomes the maximum value.
