PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap gate relieving an impact caused by opening/closing operation and securing watertightness with a door stop at an outlet end of a stream channel when an opening/closing door body is closed. SOLUTION: The flap gate 1 supporting the opening/closing door body 2 installed at the outlet end c of the stream channel C, in a swingable manner to a horizontal rotating shaft 6, includes: a door stop plate 3 formed in frame shape in conformity to the peripheral edge of the outlet end c of the stream channel C, supported movably in a direction of the stream channel C while having a clearance 31 between itself and the outlet end c of the stream channel C, and abutting on the opening/closing door body 2 and pressed toward the stream channel C when the opening/closing door body 2 is closed; an impact absorbing member 4 continuously provided at least at one of the outlet end c and the door stop plate 3 to fill the clearance 31 between the door stop plate 3 and the outlet end c of the stream channel C; and an impact-absorbing watertight member 5 continuously provided at an abutting part of the opening/closing door body 2 abutting on the door stop plate 3.
