PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator tool for more suitably moving a terminal guide to the front side. SOLUTION: The escalator tool 50 is provided for moving the terminal guide to the front side in the cross direction when the terminal guide provided at the end of a moving handrail guide rail which guides an endless moving handrail and provided against the tension of the moving handrail is worn along the cross direction of the moving handrail and a portion of the moving handrail corresponding to the worn terminal guide is shifted farther in the cross direction than other portions. It includes an engaging part 56 provided at one end for engaging with a portion on the corner side in the cross direction of the terminal guide, and a first extension part 52 provided at the other end, to which outer force is given to move the terminal guide to the front side in the cross direction.
