PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic case causing neither stain due to dropping and spill of cosmetics, nor malfunction. SOLUTION: The cosmetic case includes: a case body 1 having partitioned recesses for storing cosmetics; and a lid body 5 turnably supported at the case body 1 via a pivot e and allowing a hook 5a to link with an engagement claw 4 disposed at a front recess 3 of the case body 1 via a through-hole 2 to retain the partitioned recesses M in a tightly closed state. The through-hole 2 is disposed with a sealing member 8 closing the through-hole 2 in state where the lid body 5 is opened, while opening the through-hole 2 where the lid body 5 is tightly closed.
