The toothbrush has a toothbrush head provided with a top side, and cleaning elements arranged at the top side for cleaning teeth. A lower side of the head is arranged opposite to the top side, and side surfaces connect the top side with the lower side. One of the side surfaces is provided with a neck part (4), and the toothbrush head comprises elastomer or hard component. The side surface is covered partially by the elastomer and by the hard component. The side surfaces are provided along a longitudinal side of the toothbrush head.
