<p>Disclosed is a centrifugal compressor capable of suppressing a reduction in efficiency while preventing a rotating stall by increasing a rotating-stall starting margin. In a centrifugal compressor (1) including a vaneless diffuser (7A) at a position adjacent to the outlet of an impeller (5A), a slit-shaped fluid circuit (12) having a fluid inlet (12A) formed in a wall of a hub-side casing (2B) of the vaneless diffuser (7A) and a fluid outlet (12B) formed in the wall of the hub-side casing (2B) facing the rear side of a hub disc (5C) of the impeller (5A). The fluid inlet (12A) of the slit-shaped fluid circuit (12) has the center of the opening at a position from 1.1(R2) to 1.4(R2) when the radius of the outlet of the impeller (5A) is defined as R2, and is formed at a position outside the rotating-stall starting radial position in the vaneless diffuser (7A) in the radial direction.</p> |
