METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS OF CELL AND TISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing a tissue quickly.

SOLUTION: An execution method by a computer for identifying a position of each of a plurality of histo-spots in an image of a stained tissue microarray includes processes for: (a) removing some of histo-spots having atypical size and shape from the image; (b) covering a region of an image having a higher pixel intensity region than other pixel intensity regions of the image by applying a virtual mask having characteristic size and shape on a typical spot in a plurality of spots; (c) setting intensity of the image of a region under the mask temporarily at zero; (d) repeating the processes (b) and (c) until being identified that sufficient intensity is not carried because every region is regarded as a histo-spot; (e) identifying a reference point of each histo-spot; (f) and connecting each reference point of each spot to either of the most adjacent histo-spot and the edge of the image.
