<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition which are preferable for producing electronic components such as a capacitor and the like showing high specific permittivity, having advantageous insulation property and sufficient reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition includes a hexagonal type barium titanate as a main component shown by a general formula: (Ba<SB>1-α</SB>M<SB>α</SB>)<SB>A</SB>(Ti<SB>1-β</SB>Mn<SB>β</SB>)<SB>B</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and having hexagonal crystal structure wherein an effective ionic radius of 12-coordinated "M" is with in ±20% with respect to an effective ionic radius of 12-coordinated Ba<SP>2+</SP>and the A, B, α and β satisfy relations of 0.900≤(A/B)≤1.040, 0.003≤α≤0.05, 0.03≤β≤0.2, and as subcomponents, with respect to 100 mol main component, certain contents of alkaline earth oxide such as MgO, Mn<SB>3</SB>O<SB>4</SB>and/or Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, CuO, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, rare earth element oxide and glass component including SiO<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
