<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an uneven temperature distribution of an objective lens with an inexpensive and simple structure, in an objective lens driving device having two objective lenses mounted on a common lens holder, and an optical head device. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of focus coils and a plurality of tracking coils are attached to a lens holder 3 for holding two objective lenses 4, 5. Each of the plurality of focus coils is disposed in the periphery of each objective lens at a position symmetrical with respect to a plane that passes through the center axis of the objective lens and is perpendicular to a track, and at a position symmetrical with respect to a plane that passes through the center axis of the objective lens and is parallel to the track. Each of the plurality of tracking coils is disposed in the periphery of each objective lens at a position symmetrical with respect to a plane that passes through the center axis of the objective lens and is perpendicular to a track, and at a position symmetrical with respect to a plane that passes through the center axis of the objective lens and is parallel to the track. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
