<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baggage deposit system for reliably keeping a baggage of an absentee in a receiving box. <P>SOLUTION: A management server 2 stores in advance customer information in a customer information storage part 23. When receiving a retrieval request from a customer terminal, a baggage receiving room reservation part 25 reserves a baggage receiving room 31 of a baggage receiving box 3 selected by a box selection part 24 on the basis of an address of a customer. An authentication information transmission part 26 transmits authentication information including a member number of the customer to the baggage receiving box 3 in association with the reserved baggage receiving room 31. The baggage receiving box 3 stores the authentication information received from the management server 2 in an authentication information storage part 35b in association with the baggage receiving room 31 reserved in association with the authentication information.
