<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of appropriately providing and registering information in a control device. <P>SOLUTION: The control device is connected with a computer through a network and connected with a local device without using the network. The control device includes a memory and a data providing part for providing the computer with data showing the contents of target information when acquisition of the target information is requested from the computer. When the target information is information that belongs to a first group, the data providing part reads data showing the contents of the target information from the memory and provides the computer with the read data.
