PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding film causing neither a rise in indoor temperature nor an increase in the greenhouse effect as a result of not impeding a decrease in the indoor temperature rise and greenhouse effect by a light shielding function due to the light shielding film bearing heat or storing heat by absorbing light and heat when the light shielding film is used stuck to window glass or door glass to shield incident light such as sunlight to the indoors from the outdoors. SOLUTION: The light shielding film includes a large number of regular fine light non-transmitting dots 3 on one surface of a transparent or translucent base film 2, and includes a light reflecting surface 3a of mirror finished surface or light diffusion (light scattering) shape on the opposite side to the light non-transmitting dots 3 with respect to at least the base film 2.
