PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring that can make the amplitude of an object small even in a low frequency band. SOLUTION: The spring 1 is formed with a closed space 16 filled with liquid 103 while having elastic characteristics, and the closed space 16 is formed with hole parts 15 serving for communication between the inside and outside and allowing liquid 103 to pass through. When vibration is transmitted from a base 102A, Helmholtz resonance can be generated to liquid in the hole parts at a resonance frequency f<SB>d</SB>by suitably designing the form of the hole parts 15. Since Helmholtz resonance can function as a dynamic damper to a vibration system which is a main vibration system including the object 101 and the spring 1, the amplitude of the object 101 at a noted resonance frequency can be controlled by designing the shape, passage direction length, the number, etc. of the hole parts 15 to suitably set the area and passage length of the hole parts to thereby set the resonance frequency f<SB>d</SB>of Helmholtz resonance to a predetermined value.
