PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glue applying method for bookbinding by which glue can easily and inexpensively be applied on the back of a paper bundle. SOLUTION: In the glue applying method for bookbinding, a sheet body 22 on which the glue 5 having a property to be melted by heat has been applied is arranged on a heat source body 21 of which the surface is heated.
