The invention relates to devices for converting wave energy. The wave energy plant comprises at least one float-type hydraulic pump (3), a hydraulic turbine (9) with a power generator, a conduit (8) connecting the hydraulic pump (3) to the hydraulic turbine (9), and a maritime base (1) with a platform (2) arranged above sea level. The hydraulic turbine (9) and the power generator are mounted on the platform (2). This enhances operational reliability and efficiency, reduces hydraulic losses when pumping water through the conduit, and reduces manufacturing, installation and running costs. |
