<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laparoscopic scaffold assembly for minimally invasive surgery. <P>SOLUTION: The laparoscopic scaffold assembly for minimally invasive surgery includes: an instrument pod configured for insertion through a tissue tract into a body cavity; and a plurality of actuatable movers each of which includes an insertion member extending therefrom for insertion within tissue, has at least one line removably attachable to the instrument pod, and is configured to move the instrument pod between a plurality of different positions within the body cavity relative to each mover upon the actuation of at least one of the movers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
