LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT PACKAGE, AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element having an increased optical efficiency, and to provide a method for manufacturing the light emitting element, a light emitting element package, and a lighting system.

SOLUTION: The light emitting element includes: a first conductivity type semiconductor layer including a first conductivity type dopant; a second conductivity type semiconductor layer including a second conductivity type dopant different from the first conductivity type dopant; an active layer arranged between the first conductivity type semiconductor layer and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer; and an AlInN-based semiconductor layer arranged between the active layer and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer, brought into contact with the active layer and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer and including the second conductivity type dopant.
