<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that stores a housing apparatus while preventing an inner cable from being entangled. <P>SOLUTION: An ODD (optical disk drive) 300 inserted through an opening is stored in a body enclosure 210 by being engaged with a female connector 253. A guide member 254 for guiding the ODD 300 to the female connector 253 is equipped with an extension part 254a. The extension part 254a extends in a position in contact with the inserted ODD 300 with space against the body enclosure 210, in a direction crossing an insertion path. The extension part 254a holds the cable in a position apart from the insertion path because the cable passes through the space.
