PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for removal or filteration of debris in a pipeline. SOLUTION: In the system for removal or filteration of debris in a pipeline, a perforated plate 20 having a plurality of perforations 50 configured to remove the debris from media is provided in the pipeline 10, the perforations include an inlet edge that is chamfered, and the inlet edge of each of the perforations is positioned on an upstream edge with respect to a flow direction of the media.
