PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal break prevention structure of an S-trap or a P-trap which is simple in structure, is suppressed in cost, and does not need an extra installation space. SOLUTION: In the S-trap 1A formed by connecting a stick pipe 3 to the outflow side end of a trap U-pipe 2, the average cross sectional area of an inflow leg 11 is made smaller than that of an outflow leg 12 by fitting a vertically tubular insert 4 to the inflow side of the trap U-pipe 2.
