PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel which is manufactured with high manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: The display panel comprises: a first substrate 10; a second substrate 30 facing the first substrate 10; and a display medium layer 20 formed between the first substrates 10 and the second substrate 30. The first substrate 10 includes a scribe mark 50 formed at a part positioned in a panel circumference at the display medium layer 20 side. The scribe mark 50 is constituted of the thinnest conductive film out of conductive films formed at the first substrate 10. The fist substrate 10 further includes an electrode line formed of a metal material at the display medium layer 20 side, and the electrode line formed of the meatal material is constituted of the same conductive film as that of the scribe mark 50.
