PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scatter-preventing cover for a bush cutter, keeping most suitable posture corresponding to conditions of working space, decreasing no workability and capable of securing safety of the operator; and to provide a bush cutter equipped with the cover. SOLUTION: There is provided a scatter-preventing cover for a bush cutter, attached near a cutting part of a bush cutter having a cutting part driven to rotate and attached to at the tip end of an operation rod, wherein, the scatter-preventing cover for a bush cutter has a protecting part protecting against at least scattering matters flying to the rear by rotation force of the cutting part, and the protecting part is set freely swingable in the front and rear direction of the operation rod or vertically movable in the crossing direction with respect to the longitudinal direction of the operation rod.
