PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printer capable of printing a destination printing label which solves necessity for printing information of a forwarder on a post card or an envelop in advance, a control method, and a program. SOLUTION: The tape printer 1 includes a first input part for accepting input of a first character string indicating a destination, a first image generation part for generating a first image showing the destination based on the first character string accepted by the first input part, a second input part for accepting input of a second character string indicating the information on the forwarder, a second image generation part for generating a second image showing the information on the forwarder based on the second character string accepted by the second input part, and a printing part for printing the first image and the second image on a tape-like member.
