PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device capable of stably sucking both, and capable of surely sucking and holding both even to bending and deforming of an interleaf end part protruding from a glass pane, when simultaneously taking out the glass pane and an interleaf existing in an alternately sandwiched state. SOLUTION: This plate glass suction device includes a glass suction pad 11 for sucking one plane side of the plate glass G and an interleaf suction tool 12 for sucking the interleaf end part protruded from the periphery of the plate glass G of the interleaf P positioned on the other plane side of the plate glass G, by a suction opening part 12a arranged in the longitudinal direction along the side of the plate glass G and linearly contacting with the interleaf end part, from one plane side of the plate glass G, when the glass suction pad 11 sucks the plate glass G.
