<p>Provided is a server system control method that minimizes any slow down in the monitoring response when monitoring a server. In this method for controlling a server system comprising a plurality of servers connected via a network, a first server that is one of the plurality of servers monitors the operating states of the first server and the other servers. The first server detects a first load of the first server, compares the result of detection of the first load with a prescribed threshold value, and when the first load is greater than the threshold value, transmits a request to a second server that is one of the other servers to detect a second load of the second server. The second server detects the second load of the second server upon receiving the request to detect the second load from the first server, transmits the result of detection of the second load to the first server, and the first server receives the result of detection of the second load transmitted from the second server.</p> |
