PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for product recommendation are provided to recommend the users the goods proper to their inclination by clustering the users having similar inclination based on the content usage history. CONSTITUTION: A usage history storage unit(110) stores the usage history information in which the usage history of the content by a user is included. A cluster tree manager(120) creates cluster tree by clustering the users according to the usage history information. A cluster storage unit(130) stores cluster members corresponding to each node of the cluster tree. A recommendation unit(140) receives the history of the goods purchased by the cluster members from a product server(60).
