<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner having excellent fine dot reproducibility and capable of maintaining image quality for a long time, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a compact and inexpensive image forming apparatus where a toner supplying mechanism and a toner density sensor are not needed. <P>SOLUTION: The two-component developer toner having at least a binder resin and a magnetic body is formed so that a dissolution product or a dispersion product formed by dissolving or dispersing a toner composition including a binder resin component formed of a modified polyester resin capable of reacting with an active hydrogen in an organic solvent is reacted with at least one agent of a cross-linking agent or an extension agent in an aqueous medium including resin fine particles, toner mother body particles formed by removing the solvent from the obtained dispersion product, and magnetic body particles are stirred and mixed and the magnetic body particles are fixed to surfaces of the toner mother body particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
