PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust passage control valve with a valve element in an ideal valve opening state. SOLUTION: The exhaust passage control valve includes: a valve seat 22 with a valve port 24 for allowing exhaust gas G from an engine to pass therethrough; the valve element 26 opening/closing the valve port 24; and a compression coil-shaped spring body 28 applying a spring force to the valve element 26 in a direction closing the valve port 24. The valve element 26 is formed with a valve element inclined portion 26b which is formed in at least part from a portion opposed to the inside diameter side of the valve port 24 to a portion opposed to the outside diameter side thereof, and which is deflected in a valve opening direction toward a radially outward direction.
