PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic dispersion capable of preventing the aggregation of electrophoretic particles, an electrophoresis display device using the electrophoretic dispersion, a method for manufacturing the electrophoresis display device, and an electronic apparatus superior in display performance. SOLUTION: The electrophoresis display device (electrophoresis display unit) 20 has a first substrate 1 equipped with a first electrode 3, a second substrate 2 equipped with a second electrode 4 opposite to the first electrode 3, and an electrophoretic dispersion liquid 10 provided between the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2. The electrophoretic dispersion liquid (dispersion liquid for an electrophoresis display unit) 10 includes a liquid phase insulative dispersion medium 6 with electrophoretic particles dispersed therein, which are electrophoretically migrated by an effect of an electric field. In the present invention, as the electrophoretic particles, inorganic particles 5a and resin particles 5b colored with colors different from those of the inorganic particles 5a and further having electrostatic charge polarity opposite to that of the inorganic particles 5a are included.
