PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe installation support apparatus for checking an interfering state or considering working amounts on piping in installing mounting piping without actually hoisting the mounting piping when the axial centers of two existing pipes arranged in a facility are not matched. SOLUTION: The pipe installation support apparatus performs processing including: measuring the shape and position of the tip end of existing piping and bent piping by using a three-dimensional measurement unit and generating the three-dimensional data (steps S1-S7); calculating the intersection point of the existing piping and bent piping, based on the axial centers (step S8); arranging the bent piping in the optimum position with respect to the existing piping, based on the intersection point and the axial centers (steps S9-S11); and subsequently setting a cross section at a substantially center between the end surface of the existing piping and the end surface of the bent piping, and calculating a distance between the end surfaces and the cross section as the working amounts (step S12).
