PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an adjustment time of ejection timing in each nozzle array. SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting apparatus includes a head and a control part. The head is equipped with a plurality of head modules each comprised of a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array that eject liquids to a medium in one nozzle plate. The plurality of head modules are aligned in a relative moving direction to the medium. The control part controls the ejection of the liquids from the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array, and can correct the ejection timing in the first nozzle array and the ejection timing in the second nozzle array using a correction amount obtained on the basis of a pattern formed by ejecting the liquid from the first nozzle array in each of at least two head modules of the plurality of head modules.
