MEASUREMENT REPORTING IN A WIRELESS NETWORK

A system and method for measurement reporting in a wireless network. A user equipment (UE) with an allowed closed subscriber group (CSG) list and a processor to receive a measurement reporting criteria containing at least one signal strength criterion. The processor also sends a measurement report with measurement results of a CSG cell when the at least one signal strength criterion of the CSG cell are met and when the CSG cell is in the allowed CSG list.
