PURPOSE: A cooling fan control device of a drive motor and a cooling fan driving control method using the same are provided to lengthen a lifetime of a cooping unit by reducing the power consumption of the cooling unit for cooling the drive motor. CONSTITUTION: A cooling unit(130) includes a cooling fan. A first temperature detection unit detects temperature of a refrigerant at an input terminal and an output terminal of a flow path connected to the drive motor. A second temperature detection unit detects the temperature when the drive motor is operated. A calculation/control unit(140) outputs a frequency for controlling a driving operation of the cooling unit on the basis of the temperature information detected through the first and the second temperature detection units. A transmission control unit(150) controls an output of the cooling unit by using the frequency outputted from the calculation/control unit.
