Provided are a method, an apparatus and a system for acquiring and transmitting access information in the embodiments of the present invention. The method for acquiring access information includes: transmitting a context request message to the second Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN), wherein the context request message comprises the subscriber identifier of a Mobile Station (MS) (101); receiving a context response message transmitted from the second SGSN, wherein the context response message comprises the access type information of the MS in the second SGSN, and the access type information of the MS in the second SGSN is acquired by the second SGSN according to the subscriber identifier (102). In the embodiments of the present invention, the first SGSN can acquire the access type information of the MS in the second SGSN in time, which thereby enables the first SGSN to process subsequent service according to the access type information.
