PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the complicatedness of work relevant to the mounting of a tire shaft to a tire testing device, and to secure safety. SOLUTION: Each tire shaft support device includes a lower block 13 which supports the tire shaft 4, an upper block 14 which sandwiches the tire shaft 4 together with the lower block 13, a housing 11 for housing the blocks 13, 14, a cap 15, and lock mechanisms 17 provided at both sides in the horizontal direction of the cap 15. Each lock mechanism 17 includes a cylinder 17a, a hydraulic cylinder 17b for moving a lock pin forward/backward horizontally in the cylinder 17a, and so on. By the drive of the hydraulic cylinder 17b, the lock pin inside the cylinder 17a selectively takes up a lock position for fixing the cap 15 with respect to the housing 11 or the like, by coming in contact with the cap 15, and an unlock position for releasing the fixing of the cap 15 with respect to the housing 11 or the like, by being isolated from the cap 15.
