PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for registering components using a reference mark are provided to simultaneously recognize and register components by forming a reference mark on a holding plate. CONSTITUTION: A slide stage(300) is movably installed at a main body(200). A holding plate is movably installed on an upper surface of a slide stage. First to third reference marks are formed at the holding plate. A camera(500) is arranged on the holding plate so as to obtain two images. A control unit(600) registers a component image by synthesizing two images obtained through the camera.
