摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially stably producing high-density spherical nickel cobalt aluminum multiple oxide free from a complex forming agent and halogen, etc., and having an average particle diameter suitable as a starting material for a lithium ion battery positive electrode material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing nickel cobalt aluminum multiple oxide represented by the formula (1): Ni<SB>(1-x-y)</SB>Co<SB>x</SB>Al<SB>y</SB>O (wherein x is 0.05-0.3, and y is 0.05-0.2) includes (i) a step in which while feeding an inert gas into the internal space of a reaction tank, an aqueous solution containing a nickel compound and a cobalt compound, an aqueous sodium aluminate solution, an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution and an aqueous solution containing an ammonium ion supplier are separately and simultaneously fed as raw material solutions into a reaction tank and brought into a reaction to obtain nickel cobalt aluminum multiple hydroxide, and (ii) a step in which the obtained nickel cobalt aluminum multiple hydroxide is heated at a temperature rising rate of &le;4&deg;C/min from 300&deg;C to 500&deg;C in the air atmosphere and fired at a maximum attained temperature of 600-900&deg;C to obtain nickel cobalt aluminum multiple oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
