PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently lubricate a sliding surface by eliminating the flow of a lubricating oil on the back face side of a facing member. SOLUTION: The differential gear includes: a differential case 3 rotatably supported to store the lubricating oil inside; a pinion gear 7 rotatably supported in the differential case 3 through a pinion shaft 5; a pair of side gears 9, 11 supported in relatively rotatable manner in the differential case 3 and meshed with the pinion gear 7; and the facing members 13, 15 provided between the differential case 3 and at least one of the pair of side gears 9, 11 to perform differential limiting by rotation sliding. The facing members 13, 15 are directly attached to one of the differential case 3 and the side gears 9, 11 and perform the rotation sliding to the other of the differential case 3 and the side gears 9, 11.
