PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye capable of preventing dye aggregation in a solution, making dendrimer formation easy, capable of absorbing or emitting radiation of longer than 800 nm, having desirable optical physical properties and imparted with tissue specific targeting ability. SOLUTION: There are provided a composition of a low molecular biomolecule-dye conjugate for promoting tumor detection, and a production method of the composition. The composition keeps fluorescence efficiency of the dye molecules, does not aggregate in a solution, forms starburst dendrimer, can absorb or emit light in near infrared region (longer than 800 nm) and may be supposed to be tissue specific.
