PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device exerting an excellent heat exchanging performance by causing a connecting structure of two or more magnetic grains in a magnetic fluid. SOLUTION: The cooling device 20 is provided with: the magnetic fluid 1 which includes at least a solvent 2 and the magnetic grains 3 dispersed in the solvent; a fluid circulation circuit 25 where the magnetic fluid 1 circulates; a magnetic field generation device 10 which generates a magnetic field to the magnetic fluid 1 flowing in the fluid circulation circuit 25; and an engine 24 (heating element) which is subjected to endotherm by the magnetic fluid 1 in the middle of fluid circulation circuit 25.
