<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems such as signal leakage because of variations in circuit characteristics, loss in a hybrid unit after amplification and difficulty in mounting in a radio transmitter using two polarizations orthogonal to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The radio transmitter includes: a 180-degree hybrid means for outputting each of a difference signal based on the difference between two signals to be input and a sum signal based on the sum thereof; and a two-polarization synthetic antenna means for converting each of the output signals from the 180-degree hybrid means into radio signals of polarizations orthogonal to each other. A first modulation signal or a second modulation signal, or a first modulation signal or a second modulation signal which are subjected to frequency modulation are input into the 180-degree hybrid means. If the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal are input into the 180-degree hybrid means, the output signal of the 180-degree hybrid means is subjected to frequency conversion, and then, is used as an input of the two-polarization synthetic antenna means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
