<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method for improving operability of a user by guessing an intention of the user and reflecting it in operation, in list display wherein a plurality of items can be continuously selected. <P>SOLUTION: In the display method, a display device 11 is made to display a list wherein the plurality of items can be continuously selected, and a desired item can be selected while moving a cursor indicating a selection candidate by operation of a remote controller 13. In the display method, order is attached to the items according to arrangement of the items, it is stored whether at least a closest movement direction of the cursor is a plus direction or a minus direction in the order, it is decided whether the closest movement direction of the cursor is the plus direction or the minus direction when the desired item is selected, the cursor is automatically moved to the item of the plus direction in a view from the selected item when deciding that the movement direction is the plus direction, and the cursor is automatically moved to the item of the minus direction in the view from the selected item when deciding that the movement direction is the minus direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
