<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a high-definition displayed video by appropriately controlling to reduce motion blurs of the displayed video caused by the time integration effect of an image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises a motion detection section 1 for detecting a moving amount of an input image signal, and an edge emphasis section 2 for applying edge emphasizing processing to the input image signal. For a region having the large moving amount of the input image signal, an edge emphasis degree of the edge emphasizing processing is increased. Herein, a control means 4 is provided in which, on the basis of CG synthetic information indicating a screen regional position where a computer-graphics image is synthesized in the input image signal, even for the region having the great moving amount of the input image signal, when it is recognized that a high frequency component included in the input image signal is not attenuated in the process of generating the input image signal, the edge emphasis degree of the edge emphasizing processing is reduced or the edge emphasizing processing is not performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
