<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch functions using a recording medium by controlling the functions using data read from the recording medium in non-contact manner. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer 10 has an RF tag reader 19 which reads a tag ID from an RF tag (recording medium) in non-contact manner. Function setting data in which the tag ID read from the RF tag reader 19 and the data indicating contents of function setting are associated is recorded in HDD 121. If it is determined that the tag ID read when the personal computer 10 is held over a place of attaching the RF tag matches the tag ID of the function setting data, CPU 111 executes function control of startup of applications or function setting of hardware based on the data indicating the function setting associated with the tag ID of the function setting data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
