<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger capable of precisely detecting the presence of a device to be charged. <P>SOLUTION: The charger which converts a power obtained from an AC power source into an electromagnetic force includes a charging part 220 for charging a device to be charged and a searching magnetic field generation part 240 for searching the device to be charged. The charger also includes a magnetic field detecting part 230 for detecting a change in magnetic flux generated from the charging part 220 and the searching magnetic field generation part 240; and a CPU 201 which controls the charging part 220, the searching magnetic field generation part 240, and the magnetic field detecting part 230. The CPU 201 detects a change in the magnetic flux generated from the searching magnetic field generation part 240 via the magnetic field detecting part 230, and controls the charging part 220 according to the detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
