<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and secured screening method for a substance suitable as a cosmetic material (wherein, including a quasi-drug) and having the effect of improving skin-barrier function. <P>SOLUTION: The method for screening simply, efficiently and in high accuracy an ingredient having the effect of improving skin-barrier function is provided. This screening method includes the following: paying attention to the action mechanism of a substance having the effect of improving skin-barrier function, the respective levels of extent on the TRPV(transient receptor potential vanilloid)-activating effect and the effect of improving the formation of TJ(tight-junction) and AJ(adherents-junction) in cells are adopted as indicators. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
