<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management system, a power management device, an image forming device, methods implemented by the power management device and the image forming device, a program, and a recording medium, for properly adjusting power consumption of a device connected to a power line to prevent over-current. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device enables data communications via a power line and includes: a power management means which manages power to be used in a power line network constituted by power lines; a power profile information database for registering the identification information of the image forming device connected to the power line and the power consumption for each operation mode of the image forming device in association with each other; and a power state information database for registering the identification information of the image forming device connected to the power line and the current operation mode of the image forming device in association with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
