<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate accuracy during operation using a scenario for scenario evaluation. <P>SOLUTION: The biometric device has a hierarchical structure of a BSP 40, a framework 60 including an input/output means 68 and a DB 62, and an application 80. The BSP includes a device control means 42 for controlling a device 20, a registration code preparation means 44 for preparing a registration code from biological information obtained by the device and storing the registration code in the DB, a collation code preparation means 46 for preparing a collation code from the biological information obtained by the device, and a one-to-one collation means 48 for collating the collation code with the registration code read from the DB.
