PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic diaphragm and a speaker, capable of enriching sound field representation with superior bass reproduction characteristics, when natural wood (wooden sheet) is used as a diaphragm. SOLUTION: The acoustic diaphragm includes a wooden diaphragm 5, and propagation speed adjusting members 73a, 73b which are disposed on a surface of the wooden diaphragm 5 in a first direction passing the center of the wooden diaphragm 5, and adjust a propagation speed at which the wooden diaphragm 5 propagates a sound in a plane of the wooden diaphragm 5.
