<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a target with high precision even under a low SNR environment. <P>SOLUTION: A target detecting apparatus 14 includes: an analyzer 15 for converting a radar reflection signal into an analysis signal designated by a two-dimensional vector; an extractor 16 for setting a particle filter for the analysis signal, calculating a likelihood of each cell, and extracting a predetermined number of cells having a high likelihood; a distributor 19 for controlling distribution of cells whose likelihood is calculated by the extractor 16; a detector 17 for detecting a two-dimensional vector corresponding to a cell having a likelihood exceeding a predetermined threshold among the extracted predetermined number of cells; and a track generator 18 for generating a track of the target from the two-dimensional vector detected by the detector 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
